All Oldies, All the time!

This was one of my favorite gigs! It was a great Oldies station started by Pete Salant back in 1985. The sound was fantastic with the wonderful AM Stereo sound. A few years later the station was sold as a Hartford, CT radio station went Oldies. This station is WDRC 102.9, Big-D 103. It captured listeners from Winner Radio (WNNR 1220) to the FM Band. It was sad to see such a great station disappear. Pete, it's too bad it wasn't FM!! It was a great Oldies station!! Today the station is WQUN running with a Standards format.
